C hing, what is the different between English version and Chinese version ? Can we change the English firmware to Chinese firmware later on ?
If I want to buy a All code Kit for blu-ray, is English version better ?

Basically, English and Chinese are the same except the latest Chinese version can choose either English menu or Chinese menu....... English version got no Chinese menu.

If you got Oppo 83 from Ouku, then you should choose their firmware otherwise they don't provide support. For US Oppo 83, you better choose US version of firmware.

If yes, then it is better to wait for the Chinese version

I got Oppo 83 SE and bought it from Ouku China and I should use their Chinese firmware as they told me last time they did the SE upgrade to me.

If you bought it from US http://www.oppodigital.com/. You may better use their firmware. If you really want to use Chinese version firmware, you can send this question to Ouku China via their forum http://bbs.ouku.com/forum-53-1.html

You can choose BDP-83SE(US version) or BDP-83SE(Chinese version) at www.ouku.com.hk. don't worry about the firmware upgrade, ouku's staff will help you to solve all the problem.
