I think below $3,000 would be OK.

However, need to match your equipment. I plugged an Oyaide TUNAMI GPR-X to my Pioneer LX-71 BDP b4, the picture and sound became very weird. Reason was that the TUNAMI was tooooo powerful.

I immediately consulted Tit Sum Sum bro., he advised me to change to Acrolink 4030, the result returned to normal.
